Teaneck – SEED, Corp. acquired and rehabilitated Advance Housing, Inc’s expansion of their Bergen County Supportive Living Program. This project was funded through the Special Needs Housing Trust Fund with a match from Bergen County Community Development HOME dollars. Teaneck includes a three-bedroom single family home for shared living for 3 low income individuals with special needs.
The support services are provided by Advance Housing and follows a wellness and recovery model in its approach to resident’s needs and services and will be strength and empowerment based in order to foster the development of healthy, independent adults. The Division of Mental Health Services awarded service funding for this project.
