Gingerbread Castle Homes – SEED, Corp. developed Advance Housing, Inc.’s expansion of their Supportive Living Program in Sussex County. This expansion, which will be funded through the Special Need Housing Trust Fund, a Small Cities Grant, HUD McKinney-Vento, and State HOME CHDO, is located in Hamburg, New Jersey and is a COAH project for the Borough of Hamburg. Gingerbread Castle Homes is a multi-family dwelling, consisting of eight one-bedroom apartments for low and moderate income individuals. Five of the eight units will be reserved for individuals with special needs, four of whom must also be chronically homeless.
Project Based State Rental Assistance Vouchers were awarded for five special needs adults by the Department of Community Affairs. Support services for this project were awarded by the Division of Mental Health Services and are provided by Advance Housing, Inc.
