SEED, Corp. was awarded $882,815 in HUD McKinney money to develop Bergen Cares I, 10 units of affordable housing located throughout Bergen County, NJ for homeless individuals. The first building was a foreclosed property that needed substantial gut rehabilitation and features new bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, and appliances. SEED, Corp. has partnered with The Alliance Against Homelessness of Bergen County, Inc. (Bridge Haven Housing) to provide the supportive housing services.
